I'm on a personal mission to create an optimal weekly schedule. One that perfectly blends a harmonious balance between productive work, exercise, hobbies, family time, and rest.
Ironically, the last one I mentioned — rest, seems to be the baseline for success.
I know that I'm most productive in the morning — in fact, I realize if I don't write before I start my workday, it seems to get tougher and tougher as the day goes on.
Last week, I focused on getting to bed between 8-9pm. This has allowed my body to naturally wake up between 4:30-5:30am. After buying an Oura ring to track my sleep, I'm noticing the one variable that seems to help me get to bed at an earlier time is eating my last meal by 6pm.
I'm not saying this is a 100% sustainable way to live life, but I'm in Startup Sprint mode right now for the next 8 weeks so I'm working to do everything I can to optimize my schedule.
In future posts, I'll be talking about my current weekly schedule as it relates to optimizing a balance between productive work, exercise, hobbies, family time, and rest.
